BREWING LOCAL ARTISTS - is an Art Exhibition showcasing 16 local artists Opening 16th November, Doors open at 3pm, come down and join us.

Its my birthday on that day too yayayayayayay! so I would love to have a brewski with you, make sure to introduce yourself and say Hi!

In the pieces of art featured throughout House 4 the women are showing off their body in feminine ways, not promiscuously, and they're not showing their faces either.

"As you're going through, they're all different shapes and sizes and have different vulnerabilities, and it just shows the beauty and strength within a woman and the ability to push herself to the absolute maximum for her family," she explained.

"We wanted to show growth in that opposed to Grey Street and looking at it like it's a dirty street."

The first room they brought this vision to life in was the formal living room with photography by Kellie North.

"All of the photography is of women hiding their faces but showing the beauty of their bodies in the way they're laying or sitting," said El'ise.

The images, which are from Kellie's The Sound Of Silence series, are some of El'ise's favourite pieces throughout their home.

Darren Palmer had a lot to say about the reveal of Elise and Matt's bathroom.....

"Aesthetically this is the most Exciting bathroom I have seen thus far, I looooove it!"

Thanks to a Key Supplier Deal, forged by the owners of Gold Coast Based Online Gallery Art Lovers Australia, Gold Coast Artists got the opportunity to be a part of the 2019 Season of the Hit Television Show The Block 2019

Elise and Matt created a beautiful Master Bedroom in their Block Home @TheBlock incorporating artworks by artist Fleur Harris @thefleurharris and moi Kellie North @kellienorthcreative

Presence made her debut on The Block last Sunday night, dressed in a simple contemporary matt black frame.

Sitting in the entrance of the Studio room, her tones tied in perfectly with the muted yellow, mustard and gold tones of the gorgeous Grafico wall paper.

I am loving Elise's styling choices, not only because she has great taste in Art haha! but she is not afraid to pair colour, texture and tones to bring together a classy eclectic mood. On point I would say for the vibe of the arty St Kilda community.

A bit about how Watershed Gallery came about and its owners Ron and Lyn Hammond...

Lyn has had a lifetime career as a professional artist and was the co owner of Artfocus Gallery in Sydney for many years (13+) as well as being an art teacher and prolific maker of artworks.

Ron has been in the signage and graphic design industry for 30 plus years specialising in delivering spaces and branding for premium automotive brands.

Frequent visitors to the Hunter for concerts, events and to enjoy the wine and fine dining they decided on a classic tree change in 2016 when they purchased the former Possums Retreat site.

They called it their “watershed moment” and from that moment they started planning the location and design of what is now the

Watershed Gallery.

My Block Story

I was so excited when my Nancy Donaldson from Art Lovers Australia called me to tell me Elise had chosen 3 pieces of my work to feature in their Formal Lounge Room on The Block @theblock

I had to get them down to the Block in St Kilda Melbourne quick smart to enable them to be showcased. We made it happen and was thrilled to find out when the show was aired that they were in a Winning Room!!!

Wanted to share with you the beautiful framing job by @studiosix49 on these 3 x large prints from my Sound of Silence collection I am so thrilled with how they look framed up in this contemporary champagne gold frame. Simple yet so elegant.
